Well, at first, it was okay. I mean, the first book was tolerable, but I got really sick of it really fast when it reminded me so much of the Twilight Saga. First book, fall in love. Second book, he leaves. Third book, starting of a love triangle with Jude or whatever. I couldn't go on to the fourth one from here, I was terrified she was going to get pregnant with a mutant baby. So, do I recommend them, maybe. They're silly and stupid, good for if you're sick with a flu and need something to read. But honestly, not good literature, by any means. Maybe worth the money for the first one, but after that, I'd give up and just imagine that they live happily ever after.

I bought this bundle thinking I would knock out 3 birds (books) in one since I've been splurging on YA fantasy books recently and the storyline seemed interesting. I was left really satisfied with the first book, but the second really dragged out. The second was much darker as Ever really stuggled with the direction of her life and coping with losing her eternal love. What really bothered me the most was, she doesn't like the the antagonist, she is suspicious of the antagonist, the antagonist lets her become aware of being the villian and up until the end, she loses all rationally and somehow still listens and is tricked by the antagonist. There was no real suspense or substance for me. At the end of the second book, I was left baffled and dumbfounded. I regret buying the bundle now and wished I left it after the first book.

I have to say that I just don't get all of the negative reviews and why is this even being compared to the "Twilight Series?"
I can point out some of the (obvious) to that last question but honestly what other "Fiction" books don't have the same thing... talking about being "IMMORTAL" and "BLUE MOON" ugh, other than that? Nope not getting it! Yes of course every book has to have some hot guys and hot friends and all that but... ???
Okay so let's move on the the review. Oh, I forgot I purchased this set for less than $5 bucks. ;) It was a steal!
EVERMORE- This first book just throws you under the loop at the beginning. I was sort of lost as to what the heck was going on. Then the pieces started to click. Sorry!!! I am probably the only one that felt that way.
It was a great way to start the series and add twist and turns though I could never really guess what was going to happen through out most of it. I would assume one thing and end up completely wrong. That was frustrating to say the least, then again that is why I liked it to begin with.
BLUE MOON- Completely takes you to where the last one ended with, yet again another twist to add to the mix. We find some answers and just dig ourselves into another bit of disaster in the making. I loved it.
SHADOWLAND- I thought that the name alone would be like... I don't know dark, evil... I will let you find that out, but Yes and No! This one again takes us were the last one drops us off and of course, another twist to keep it going while answering questions still brewing and creating new ones in the process.
Overall? I would go for this set. It was not bad and it did NOT drag on. I read a book a day with house cleaning and everything every other busy "Mom" would be doing. So yes- try it out. It is not anywhere close to "Twilight" has no Vamps or anything of that sort.
